Just iziRisk it!

Upload a deterministic Excel model. The AI finds the key output, reverse-traces it to the hard-coded inputs that drive it, ranks them with a ±10% sensitivity tornado, and recommends a probability distribution for each — turning your fixed model into a Monte Carlo one you can simulate in iziRisk Quantum.

How it works

  1. 1Upload your finished deterministic Excel model (.xlsx / .xlsm). It is read on our server, where we parse the real formulas — not just the last cached numbers — so the analysis reflects how your model actually calculates.
  2. 2The AI picks the decision output: it scans the workbook for the cell that best represents the result you care about (NPV, total cost, margin, …) and selects it as the value to make probabilistic. You can override it and analyse any output cell you type in.
  3. 3It reverse-traces the drivers: starting from that output, it walks the formula dependency graph backwards to find every hard-coded numeric input that truly feeds it, skipping intermediate formulas and unrelated cells.
  4. 4Sensitivity tornado: each driving input is varied ±10% one at a time and the resulting swing in the output is measured, ranking the inputs from most to least influential so you focus on what matters.
  5. 5Distribution recommendations: for each input, the AI — grounded in — recommends a suitable iz* probability distribution (izpert, iztriangular, iznormal, …) with numeric parameters inferred from the value and its nature.
  6. 6Review and adjust: you see every suggested distribution, its parameters, the reasoning and a formula preview, and can change any of them before building the model.
  7. 7Generate the probabilistic workbook: download the new .xlsm in which each fixed input is replaced by its iz* distribution function, while the rest of your formulas stay exactly as they were.
  8. 8Simulate in iziRisk Quantum: open the file in Excel with the iziRisk Quantum add-in installed, mark the output and click Simulate. The Monte Carlo runs inside Excel and returns the full distribution of outcomes — percentiles (P10 / P50 / P90), the probability of hitting your targets and its own tornado.
